Hi All
I copied a button from one window to another. This button calls a popup menu, so the popup menu was also copied to the target window.
But then I realized that this was not the button I needed, so I deleted it from the targer window. BUT THE POPUP MENU WAS NOT DELETED! Now I had a hundred or so errors because the menu had codes that called for variables not present in the target window! Fortunately I was able to delete all the menu items, except one separator, so I got rid of the errors. The menu and its last separator cannot be deleted from the window's control list in the project explorer! Or can they? How? Deleting the Appname.CPL subdirectory, re-compiling and project repair do not seem to help.

Hi,
Can't you just use this menu : Window(s) -> Popup Menu -> Edit. There is a delete button.
Kind regards,
Joris. |

Hi Al & Joris
Yes, you're right, found it! Thanks!
But I'm still wondering (rolling my eyes) , why the popup menus can't be managed simply in the project explorer, like windows? Must these simple management commands really be hidden behind several menu levels?
Best regards Ola |
