Franz,
isn't this apples and oranges? As far as I know WD is not a code generator. In fact it is but the produced code is not meant to be used itself.

Hi Franz,
I'm not a law specialist, but considering that
1- pcsoft is a french company, and the patent laws are VERY different there 2- Their products are all working the same way, and I've heard of their first one based on the same principle in 1988 (DOS version called hyperscreen) which is WAAAAAYYYY before the patent in question (filed on Dec 28, 2001) 3- pcsoft is NOT operating directly in the USA (they don't even have an office there, just an independant reseller)
I doubt that they are in any danger from that patent troll
