Anybody using connection to Oracle database with ODBC ?
At the moment I can not purchase Oracle native driver.
I am trying to connect to Oracle with
either OLE DB / ODBC via OLEDB
or OLE DB / Microsoft OLE DB Provider for Oracle.
I have succeeded to import the structure of some tables into the analysis.
But when I create a table to show this data (running in test mode from development environment), the test hangs and I have to kill WinDev with task manager.
Sometimes I get ORA-01756 Quoted string not properly terminated error
What are other developers using, what are the driver settings (NLS, US ...) |
