Hi All
How does one send a WD app to the tray?

Hi André,
SysIconAdd() is your friend. Be careful not to close your application, but simply hide your window.

Hi Alexandre
Great. How do you detect that the app has been selected in the tray so that you can unhide the window? Will minimize not move it to the tray? Do you have to hide the window?

Hi André,
Take the time to read the help page http://doc.pcsoft.fr/en-US/?3073001 . You can connect a menu or receive mouse events. Then you do whatever you want after. (In WD21 it is even easier.)
If your window state is hidden, you can display it, etc. If you minimize your main window and want it hid, simply get that even in your window and hide your window instead of minimizing it. Etc. You can do what you want.
Best regards, Alexandre Leclerc |
