Hi,
is there a way to tell a button to auto-repeat when the left mouse-button is still down? Is there a way to influence the repetition rate? |

Hello Guenter,
Just an idea. In the left click method: make a call to a procedure which recursively calls itself by testing the left moude down property. |

I was going to tell you about the same thing as Frans, EXCEPT for the recursive part that would crash your application quite rapidly. So, on left click, do what you need and start a timer
In the timer check if still down and on the button and redo.

thank you all! My son told me about the same but I thought that in v21 there surely should be something more straightforward than it used to be in version 5.5, a simple click of a checkbox or something like that ... OK, anyway, it is like it is. Thanks! |
