I'm using WM solely for android development , Looking through french brochure for Wx23 . I can't find enough reasons to upgrade to WM23 .
maybe someone can point out reason why I must upgrade . |

There are a host of reasons to stay on the update trail.
Every update fixes problems in previous versions - some of which were never admitted or you never came across.
There will be something you need to have that will be in a later version and it is generally more expensive to play catchup later on than to stay current.
PCSoft need the money. It is in all our interests to have a financially strong supplier of our base product. I assume that you charge your clients some type of annual fee so why begrudge PCSoft the same opportunity.
Your clients deserve the best from you and that should include a small investment from you to ensure their software is written in the latest version.
The cost of the upgrade is very small when you consider all the other costs involved in being a developer.
I don't look at the new features much anymore, I just upgrade every year as a natural part of being in the software business.

Hi
the most important TECHNICAL reason is simply that android is evolving fast and using an older version of WM is a good way to have problems that would have been avoided by using the last WX update.

The main reason to stay abreast with any compilers you may be using for whatever [Win, Linux, iOS, Android etc] is that all these platforms develop at lightning speed. If you are looking for specifics you are asking the wrong question. The specifics you will meet head on when the OS, in this case Android [but the same argument goes for any OS], requires the latest PCSoft version to address any issues or enhancements. As developers we control none of this stuff. If you want to stay in the game then keep all your tools up to date.
