How will my application (program) know that the computer was wake up from the sleep mode or the hibernate mode?

Hi
a simple way to do that would be to have a timer saving the current time in a global variable every X seconds...
And of course before saing it, calculating the time difference between the last saved value and the current time...
If that difference is greater than xxx (1 mn, by example), the computer was in sleep/hibernate
