Hi all
I'm using the example of windev called WD WebCam.
I'm trying to fil something on this program but it launch me an error:
Video API error calling '' function (Additional Details: ?+Z)
and then it doesn't fil anything, I search for this error but I can't find anything.
Someone know what is happening?

Hi all
I solve the problem
it was that the example want to save it on C:\
now I have another issue, I can create the .AVI and save data on the file but when I try to open it, it launch me an error that the file it's corrupt.
Some one have the same issue or know what it's happening?
also I'm using the exact same example of this source:

just to film something.

Hi all
I see what it's happening first of all I'm using a Hewlett Packard with windows 8
second of all When I create my .Avi it's fine but for some reason the camera do not put the data on this file.
When I end the video recording my file it's on 00:00:00 duration, so it only create my file without any information.
there's no error, only when I try to stop the video recording the Camera control stop showing and the file it's like empty.
I try this on my PC and works fine (Windows 7 and Windows 10) but on my Hewlett Packard doesn't work at all.
Any ideas?...

Hi all
Another thing I found it's when I check the property on description of the Camera control the one called "Video for windows" it doesn't show anything the camera for some reason.
I install the app on my Hewlett Packard of windows 8 but nothing appear on my control, when I try to display, take a picture or save a video the app launch me and error even if I try to configure the camera
Error:
Unable to proceed: video device not initialized.
What should I do?...
