Thanks for this info - very helpful!
(While the tooltips may be well-meant, they can be a real nuisance at times...)
Did you find this described in the WD7.5 help information?

Got it!!!!
If get nerved by the toolpits in the code editor add the following to the registry:
HKEY_Current_USER\Software\PC SOFT\WinDev\7.5\WDCOD\\ToolTipHelpMode
The Value is 2 (DWORD)
Now it has an end!!!!!

i know there was a solution some weeks ago. How can i disable the tooltips in the code editor.
