Hi

I need to re-install Windev 19 (new development PC)

I have a working licensed copy and dongle on old PC but installs have been upgrades back to WinDev 14 so I dont have a full install of just 19

Does anyone know if/where i can download a full version of WinDev 19 for a fresh install ?

Kind Regards

Dave

Hi Dave,

the easiest thing, IF you are installing the whole thing in one
directory, is to copy the windev 19 directory from the old machine to
the new one... A simple shortcut to windev.exe and you are set.

Failing that, you can download the full install for 19 + each of the
updates for 19 from windev.com, but there is no full install of the last
19 version available

Best regards

Thanks Fabrice

Does this mean the install doesn't update the windows registry then ? so a straight directory copy is ok ?

Hi Dave

I don't know what the install does or does not and I don't care :-)

I do know that the registry WILL be updated by windev itself at the
first startup (deleting the pcsoft keys in the registry is the usual way
of restarting with fresh environment settings)...

And as I have proceeded that way for my last 'n' new machines, for
windev, webdev, mobile, in french AND US, I'm pretty confortable telling
you it will work

Best regards
