Hi,
this morning I had to reindex a rather large file with about 7 million records.
I did this from my application with the hNdxNormal+hNdxDelete flags. This should block the clients (for this particular file), to get the fastest result. But it still took about half an hour!
Then I tried the same thing with WDMAP and then it takes only a few minutes.
Why is there such a huge difference? |
