Hello, I have a problem connecting to the server that we have GDS. Everything worked fine before I formatted my computer. Now It won't let me connect to the server. Do I need anything else except webdev installed in my computer for connecting to another server (so I can use GDS)? (It works if I login using other computers)?

Hi Kozeta,
did you open port 4900 in your newly formatted computer firewall? That shouldbe enough to let you connect to the HFCS DB containing the GDS data

| I actually turned firewall off and it didn't work anyway. |

Try using the HFCS from the "broken" machine to connect to the central DB where you GDS resides, if you cannot connect, you should at least get an error message with more information

Thank you for your information... I had forgotten that I had changed the port. It was 14900 not 4900. Best regards, Kozeta Leka |
