We have a problem with a huge HFsql-file (V19) We got index-errors so we want to reindex the file. The reindexing starts but at about 40% we get an error in the HFSQL-server: 'Internal error in WDHF.DLL
We tried to restart the server and starten the re-indexing afterword but got the same error.
Each time we got the error and hust try to restart the reindexing, we get another message, saying the discription in the analysis does not match the physical file... which is not correct. Restarting the HFCS gets away with this error en we can reindex (until we get the WDHF-error. Any idea what can cause this error? |

Geert My guess would be that this is a record that has been corrupted to the point were the HFSQL engine cannot access it. Not sure about HFSQL but in some other DB's it is possible to identify the record that is causing the issue and take remedial action. If this is not possible try exporting the table to XML and re-importing - the import function should fail and and give you information regarding the reason. |

Thanks for the tip, but the file contains about 9 miljon records, each record having at least 10K in a memo (digital storage for Office-docs and PDF) So: exporting/importing is not really an option...
We are now trying to reindex with WDMAP instead of HFsql (bur reindexing takes about 20minutes.. |
