Hi,
Why am I seeing a lot of French words and phrases in dialogs and menus in WinDev (english version)?
Supposedly, WinDev excels in internalization. Hey PCSoft, please apply your internalization techniques to your products. I like what I see, but these language issues needs to be dealt with. This sort of thing is simply not acceptable... I was about to buy, but issues like this is causing me to rethink...
I was in WDMap and finally got a VFP table to view and immediately noticed the row height in the grid was much too high. I started looking for ways to resize the height by looking at the menu options and right click menu options when I discovered that half of the entries were in French... I still do not see a way to resize the row height, however you can adjust the column widths.
And, how about row separator lines like the column separators lines?

I figured the extra high rows out. Turns out the very 1st 120 records had a populated memo field and after toggling the "Display text memos" off the row resized. I also see that it only resizes only the rows affected, which is good, really good.
I still don't see the horizontal separator line options.

Any idea on how to get this fixed? The issue where half the menu is in French?

Have you tried the language optoin in the "?" menu ?
Other than that it may be a "feature" of the Express version ?

This is a feature I can live without, wonder how many more such features are in the product?

About says 19.0.150.10 Express in the about dialog.
Is mine newer than yours?
