Hi,
I WISH that we could right a component and instantly add a new relevant controls. Its not there and would certainly help with the "10 times faster" goal...
Say we are working on a window, right click in any blank area of the window and we get a context sensitive menu... (that already works...) Whats missing is a menu option such as "Add new control" where we can pick only controls valid for a window. Much faster...
Also once the dashboard is closed, how do you open it? I was expecting to find an "Open Dashboard" menu item under the "Project Window", but no, its not there...

PCSoft fell for the MS Window ribbon story but at least they left the old methods in place.
Try running without the ribbon.
When Windev opens look for the two icons in the top left hand of the window and click them
The tool bars for these show
"Display the menu bar of earlier versions"
"Display the toolbars of earlier versions"
