Greetings All,

I can't help but notice that the schedule control has not yet made it to the mobile platform.

Is anyone aware of a way to 'effect' the look and feel of a schedule control (for something that looks like a project plan / gantt chart) on any of the mobile platforms, ideally with some interaction capability?

Maybe via the table control or something like that?

Thanks!!

Also, does anyone have any idea if this control will be added to WDM 21?

Hi Paul,

Yes, Nouveauté 21:-), it seems that the scheduler control (Le champ Planning in French) will be available in WM21, for Android and iStuff, but not for Windows mobile. See:

Thanks Ola!!

I guess I am out of luck for the Surface Pro platform for a while with respect to a schedule or planning control.

SO...Is it possible that I can buy a third party control and embed it in my WDM 20 App?

If so I could buy and use it until maybe version 22 when it is available for Windows Mobile Apps.

Thanks everyone!!

Hey Paul,

Probably if you make your Windows Mobile app as a Universal Windows App (Windows 10) it will work on Windows 10 Mobile devices...

Cheers,

Hi Paul

you are tlaking about the surface PRO and WDM. Thats a mistake. The surface PRO is using an INTEL processor, which means that WINDEV needs to be used to develop for it (it's basically a windows laptop without keyboard)

If you go to the surface RT (or whatever its name is now), it is using an ARM processor, so for it you need windev MOBILE.

So, if your target is a surface pro, develop in windev and the scheduler is available!

Best regards

at the moment it is safe to ignore windows phone . it's more safe to put your investment on ios/android
