Does anyone know if this is written in WebDev?
Otherwise, I am looking for some sort of framework to create a documentation site (with no budget). So far I can only figure that I will have to get a budget for helpndoc. Anyone have any advice re attempting this with only webdev?
(I know that there are some older threads on documentation - but things can change)
TIA

Hi Derek,
I don't think so, but it's really not that complex to write...
You need one page to manage chapter/sub chapters. They will later be displayed on the left, in a looper or treeview Then you need one page to input the pages text/images (ckeditor, by example, can be used for that)
The help page itself is one looper or treeview on the left and one html field on the right...
The search function can be done with a full text index.
That's all
Best regards |

Thank you Fabrice and Steve.
Seems that I can always get good advice here
I'll try Confluence first (less work and I am really stressed at the moment), but yeah, if it doesn't work for me I'll have a go at writing a simple one.
Regards Derek |
