Hi All
I have an existing Windows 2008 R2 Server running IIS7. There is a live PHP website currently running on it. As a newbie to WebDev - is there any danger to upload my first test WebDev website to this server? Is there anything I need to do / not do / watch out for before uploading my test website?
TIA |

Hi JP
if your website is in PHP mode, I can't help you, as I find this mode way too limited ti be useful.
If it's in classic or awp, then you first need to install the webdev server engine (free 10 connections or illimited $$$)

Fabrice
It is Classic WebDev site. Is there any concern that installing the WebDev server engine will interfere with the existing IIS7 sites on the server or should that be all fine, no problem? |

Hi again
I've never had any problem of that kind, so you should be fine. Then again, I always do a backup of everything before touching a server
Best regards |
