Hi everybody,
A client of ours has a problem when printing reports. It takes a long time to start the print or, when iPreview() is used, to show the print dialog when pressing the print button.
Generating a pdf doesn't have this slowdown and when using other pieces of software to print, there isn't any slowdown either.
We haven't added any code to the print button in the iPreview-window and the reports aren't compilicated to generate.
Any ideas where I should start looking?

Hello buddy! Everything good with you?
You could tell that the printer you are using to send print?
It is a serial or USB printer?
Driver that this printer properly installed?
Have you checked the speed of communication with the printer?

Hello,
thanks for getting back at me.
The printer is connected via USB, and everything works fine except in our program.
So if I print an invoice in our program it takes up to 30-40 seconds before the printer starts printing,
but if I export the invoice to pdf (which also takes long) and print it from acrobat reader, the print starts at normal speeds.
