Hi,
Is anyone missing the fact that you cannot use splitters in webdev?? I do and so are number of colleges of mine
The fact that one cannot use splitters is really a show stopper when making business web apps.
Can you tell if you agree with me on this . Maybe than PC soft will recognize this as essential missing functionality as well and do something about it
My new employer stoped working with webdev because of this !! Luckely the still use windev so I can do my magic with that.
But not having splitters is a real show stopper. And must cost PC soft a lot of customers
Thanks

Hi Allard, It would be nice to have Splitters in WEBDEV ... But I don't think this will happen really soon. PCSoft would have to include a FULL SET of Javascript controls - like these ones https://www.syncfusion.com/products/javascript and this is not a simple task.
In our WEB implementation of the alpha360.biz ERP, we are using the DashBoard control (WEBDEV 21). This technique allows us to let the user move areas and resize them (with its limitations of course).
And we have different versions for small devices (smartphones) and big devices (tablets and PCs).
When we are ready - we will post a link showing LIVE the WEB implemantion of the ERP.

Hmm
I See. That is notr going to be responsive then .
I can use frames. ( a bit old school but still supported in html 5). But I guess that is going to be limited in webdev with ajax and stuff .
Still hoping for pc soft to make a splitter , HA HA
