3+ QUESTIONS
1. I made 2 attempts to try DEMO version of Webdev and MobileDev. No success at all. Contacted company - not response.
I wonder if anybody have any experience working with demo's ?
2. The Enhlish forum and support seem to be still very poor. I really hate the fact that everything is developed and documented in French first the converted to English instead doing it opposite way. I already have some tools which are created in Portugese then converted into English but the whole idea simply sucks. There is definitely more developers on the planet who speak English than developers who speak any other language. I'm not native to English but trying to avoid issues where I have to spend extra time and irritation not being able to find information I need in language I understand.
3. Is there any way or material which allows to see the whole development process from beginning to end ? I'm mostly interested in database Apps. Is there any sample which I can download and use with the demo to see how it all works ?
any thoughts on competitive products ? |

AFAIK, there isno Webdev Demo product, only windev and mobile. So I'm
guessing you are tlaking about them.
I have been using the pcsoft product for more than 20 years, so clearly
I haven't tried the demo products lately. However, there are many people
who do so and ask questions about how to do this and that, so they ARE
working.
Now, without knowing the details of the problem you encounter, I cannot
say more than advise to exclude the install directory from your
anti-virus scan.

There is also a skype group, a google+ group, and several french forums,
where google translate is your friend.

AFAIK, the express/demo version contains several full examples and many
unit examples. Anyway, if you can't make it work, you won't be able to
see anything anywhere.
Now, there are, between other things, complete sources available on my
web site (2 big open source projects), but they are not compatible with
the demo (for licensing reason, the demo version cannot open a regular
project).

20+ years of not going away from PCSoft products...
