Using WebDev 21.

I am sure I saw you could use round images in WB21 but cannot see how to do it. There is nothing in Help that I can find.

Can someone please guide me.

Many thanks.

BTW when I say "round" I really mean "circular". They are shown when installing WB21 and also in the marketing material.

Hi John,

I don't think it's too special. As far as I know, you still use the image control, but there's a "Round" option.

Try this Help page - it mentions Round images:

Thx but I believe those are rounded corners which I use all the time. I am meaning a circle with an image in.

I cannot find my Wx21 pdf but I remember seeing these in there.

Cannot speak for WB but in WD it is a selection available in the Style tab of the control under 'Outside Border' > Border

For buttons there is a select of 'circle'
For images a selection of either 'circle' or 'custom'

I'm looking at v22 but I am sure it was available in v21 also.

Maybe this did not make it to WB

Ah hah. Thanks. Probably is just WD. Will check it out.

Confirmed. WD and WM only. Not WB. Annoying but at least I know I hadn't gone mad and seen it somewhere. Thx for the replies all the same.

You can add bootstrap and jquery to your page in the references of the advanced tab, and then in the image control, go to advanced and in the class add img-circle

Can't you just apply a css class to the image?

Hi John,

Why don't you use a png image, which supports transparency?
Just make it round in your image editor.
The rounded corners in Webdev create a huge margin.

Kind regards,
Piet

Well I had thought about that. I created an image in Photoshop on a transparent background. But when I added it to my page it showed the transparent area (check marks).

I have never seen that before so am investigating it. But adding it to WD or WM window it works perfectly.

Hi John,

Make sure that the background and borders style of the image control is undefined.

Kind regards,
Piet
