Hi Peter,
1. except if you have a HUGE project (by example 3000 files in your analysis, or 2500 windows), the 64 bits version is not only UNnecessary, but WILL create a lot of problems for you (if you don't believe me, look in the help at the list of limitations of the 64 bits versions)
2. There are several ways to restore your environment as it was before but they depend on how you 'removed' the pane... It may be that it is just hiding at the bottom because you UNPIN it and will reappear if your mouse hover low enough. In that case, you can pin it again. It may be that you uncheck it in the list of panes to display: right click on the border of another pane, and select it again in the list of panes to display It may also be easier for you to exit your editor, go in the registry, and delete the PC SOFT entry, where all those settings are stores. This way, when you restart windev, you get all the new car smell back.
Best regards
