Can WinDEV natively store PDF, Movie, and Image files into databases such as MSSQL and MySQL and display/play/save-as them? And do the same with them as files on disk with links to them?

Yes you can do it with windev... and again, you have an example of that
in WXEDM, free, open source, on my web site

I'll check it out. I did download the Express version to understand it enough to determine if I like WinDEV's concept.

You won't be able to check it out with the express version... The
express version can not open project created with the full version.
