| Good morning, recently I was asked to import a C# project to windev, but they want to import the whole project as if windev would adapt interfaces and C# code to the Wlanguage, the only thing I've seen is that you can import .NET assemblies, but not the whole project. So just to be sure, is it possible to do what I've been asked to? |

No, it's not...
In WX23, they have added the support of native C# code (like java for android, JS for webdev browser, and so on), but even there, you would need to copy and paste bits of code, not a whole project... And also only the code would be supported, not the UI part.

Hi Luis Antonio,
no, there's no way to import a full c# project. I don't know how you're makin' a living, but personally, I'd ask them to get lost. Without any further discussions. And please, close the door from the outside, thank you! Ok, this is rude and mean, but in order to protect yourself and your company this is the recommended way to avoid endless troubles.
If you are a nice software guy by nature, which I'm not, then you could try to discuss the circumstances which led to that half-finished project. And make them understand that the money spent is gone, will not come back and that they have to start their project from scratch again and maybe, they learned something. |
