Hi,
I have created a WD22 exe with all dlls inside. The user doesn't need anything to install, only start it. So far so good. If I upload the exe in a zip file and download it, my trend micro virus scan give me a warning about ransome ware. The exe before upload is the same as after and works without problems. Does anybody know how to disable that ? I signed the exe with a certificate but that doesn't help. |

Hi Michael,
I don't know how to solve. But you are not alone. From time to time we need to add our EXE to the 'whitelist' of Trend Micro.
Kind regards, Joris. |

Many antivirus programs are very "sensitive" with Zip files. Did you tried to upload it as simple EXE ?

Hi this is a false positive As such, the ONLY way to solve the problem is to contact the editor of the A/V software in question and tell them so, along with giving them an example of the program.
Best regards |
