| [WB22] Webdev installs a virus? |

I was installing WEBDEV 22 ver 30A220073h (the 32 bit version) from the DVD which came with the delivery of WB23, and got the following blocking report from Avira anti-virus:
Object: wd220hf64.dll
Detection: PUA/Montera.Gen7
Action: Move to guarantine
The installation and the initial launching of WB22 did not complain about anything.
Should I expect some promblems in future because of this? Should I re-install with the antivirus program turned off?

Hi Ola,
Shouldn't be any need to turn off your AV, just add the offending WX dll to your anti-virus white-list. |

Hi Ola,
this is a false positive, and as such, shouldbe treated the way you should trat ANY false positive :
- contact your A/V editor
- follow their procedure to report false positives
