I am trying to load an EXCEL (XLS) file to a WINDEV table. I am creating a UNIVERSAL WINDOWS 10 App. Errors are generated telling me that there is no equivalent XLSOPEN, etc. commands available to do this.
Is this not possible? In either WINDEV MOBILE or when generating a UNIVERSAL app?

From some of the entries on the forum, it seems that this is not possible, that I will have to convert the XLS file to CSV format and use this to write the records to my HFSQL Classic file
Don't understand why the function is available in WIDEV, WEB but not in WINDEV (Universal or Mobile option.
