Hi All
How happy I was with Android Push Notifications until V22 when this FireBase stuff was introduced. I cannot get it to work. Questions:
1. Is there no way to use the old method and if so how?
2. I have set up everything as per the notes without incident but no notifications come through at all.
Does anyone have any idea what I may be missing?

Sorted for now - ended up using GCM - but I suspect support for that is going to be deprecated so I really need to get to the bottom of this so if anyone has any ideas I would be grateful.

Hi André,
it's not a WM22 problem, it's google completely changing methodology and removing the old one...
And no, I haven't tried it yet

Hi Fabrice
I guessed that much. I wonder how much longer they are going to allow it - and if the method WX is using goes via Firebase anyway even though one selects the GCM option.
