Has anyone ever tried to display charts with thumbnails?
The online help claims that the English command is “grCategoryTag” (in French “grCategoryThumbnail”).
Windev Saas 2025 in the latest English version does not know “grCategoryTag” at all, but “grCategoryThumbnail” is known - and makes perfect sense in English.
However, “grCategoryThumbnail” in the entry point “Initialization of Chart_PieStats”, where I also define the colors, has no effect at all, neither an error message nor the display of images.
My call for the colors is:
grCategoryColor(CHART_PieStats, 1, LightRed) - this works fine
My call for the icons is:
grCategoryThumbnail(CHART_PieStats,1, “c:\My Projects\photos\Icons\Landscapes.jpg”)
As long as I am testing my programs, I work with fixed paths because they are easier to check. Only later do I turn them into relative paths. In any case, the icons exist at the specified location. |
