Hi
I was having a lot of PROBLEMS with the gifs on my desktop app I try everything, a lot of programs, I will list the ones it doesn't work I could remember.
App's doesn't works 1. Fraps 2. Power point screen recorder option 3. Dropbox (I need to pay so I'm not sure about it) 4. LICEcap 5. Microsoft clipchamp
Why it doesn't work? For some reason when I upload my gif to my project and run it, some weird graphics appear, like a corrupted pixels on one side or all over my gif.
The app I find work perfectly 1. ShareX
For some reason ShareX works perfect, I will try to explore more with this app if I found something I will post, but for now it works excellent.

Hi ARV,
It sounds like you've been having quite a time trying to get GIFs to work properly on your desktop app. Corrupted pixels and strange graphics can be really frustrating. It's great to hear that ShareX is working perfectly for you! Sometimes, different programs handle file formats in unique ways, which can cause these issues.
If ShareX is working well, I'd recommend sticking with it for now. It's a solid tool, and if you find any tips or tricks while using it, please do share! I’m sure others would benefit from your insights. |

Hi Erika383Rivera,
Yes I have a lot of problems and yes I could imagine some programs will handle the gifs with some formats I still don't know what they are or how it could be different.
For now I provide some news
I Could save my gif on my Data base and then use it on my project, with this way I can create a dynamic tutorial on my apps in a fashion way I want.
Here are some documentation from PCSoft
Here is how you can save your gif on the data base, see the link on the botton of the post, please read the rest of the text.
I know I know the documentation talks about JPG but don't worry about it, just put the directory where your gif are like this:
HLinkMemo(Product, ItmPHOTO, "C:\PHOTOS\MyGif.gif", hMemoImg)
with this, you can save it on data base then use it anyway you want.
when I have something new I will share. Until next time, take care!
