Make the properties of the combo a 'sorted list' ?
(If not sorted list then you get the sort on listindex)
i don't need to sort the contents of the combobox, but i need to be able to

sort the columns that contain comboboxes.

I know, but i think if you make the combo 'sorted' then the column of your
table is sorted on content of the combo, if not then the column is sorted
on index of the combo.
