Hey We are working in WebDev 2025 and are creating a responsive (desktop & mobile phone view in session mode) site.
We followed the latest documentation, guidelines and examples using responsive layouts.
Lately we noticed that only the mobile or the desktop layoout/view works perfectly, the other has some strange rendering issues. We tested this with a new basic test project of just 1 page with a layout for desktop and mobile, which also showed the issue. This we submitted to PC SOFT and are waiting for an answer/fix on our support ticket.
The issue is as follow: On a page, only your latest changed/saved layout works (so desktop or mobile layout), the other layout(s) have rendering issues. If you fix the other layout by moving something 1px and then save it, that layout/view will be fine again, but all others will be broken.
Visually it show like controls are not working, (ex Drawer control doesn't collapse anymore) or placement/scaling of panels/controls are totaly messed up voor those views.
Anyone who can help me of has also experience with this issue? |

Hi, I don't have answer for your question, but I like to know if you use responsive layout, I use it in prior version. But in 2025 all the help suggest to use 2 pages one for mobile and other for desktop, I think pcsoft will not support responsive layout anymore. Is that correct? |

Hi. Indeed, responsive mode is no longer actively supported. I also experience the same thing in terms of design inconsistencies between different page designs. Interestingly, when I have that problem, I close the page and reopen it, and in many cases the problem disappears. As for using two different pages depending on the device, I have also had these problems with inconsistencies in design updates. In addition, the automatic positioning of controls is more chaotic and requires more work. I currently use Webdev because of the ease of coding on the server, but for page design it is really quite poor.
